San Francisco Oceanwide Center Project Passes the Planning Audit

On May 5, 2016,relevant applications such as the Oceanwide Center project planning programwere approved by San Francisco Planning Commission at the hearing held in SanFrancisco City Hall, which marked a major progress made by the project.


Designed by theworld-famous Foster + Partners Architectural Firm, San Francisco OceanwideCenter covers a total floor area of 215,000m2. Composed of two towerbuildings, the project includes office, high-end residence and five-star hotel,etc. It is planned that 2,200m2 public space will be set up on theground floor of the tower buildings. With elaborately arranged landscape,lighting and artistic decoration, it will become a brand-new open urban spacewhich is more user-friendly and suitable for various outdoor activities in SanFrancisco. In addition, another highlight of the planning is that twocentury-old historical buildings will be reserved and revitalized, in order toleave an eternal memory for the city.


As a landmark projectin San Francisco, Oceanwide Center finally passed the planning audit after thecommunication and coordination with San Francisco planning department andcontinuous improvement of design proposal based on the conceptual scheme madewhen the land was handed over in February 2015, following the development philosophy of Oceanwide Holdingsto “create a new urban life”. The project will be built as per the platinum-levelgreen building to guarantee high quality and high standard. Upon completion,the project will become the second tallest building in San Francisco, whichwill not only greatly enrich the urban skyline of San Francisco, but alsoinject new vigor and impetus to the city.


At present, thepreparations for project such as application for construction license,dismantlement of road pipeline and demolition of existing buildings are inprocess, in order to commence the construction prior to the end of 2016.
