Training Comes to a Successful End for Indonesian Employees of Oceanwide Power Corporation Mabar Power Plant

On July 11, 2016, the training in Shanghai for Indonesian employees of Oceanwide Power Corporation Medan Mabar Power Plant came to a successful end upon completion of the workshop practices and final assessment of students of Class B in Shanghai Wujing Power Plant.


The training in Shanghai was attended by 95 Indonesian employees. They were divided into Class A and Class B. Class A began on February 22, and Class B on April 14. The whole training lasted more than 140 days in three phases, i.e. lecturing by Chinese supervisors, lecturing by teachers from Shanghai University of Electric Power and workshop practices at Wujing Thermal Power Plant.


In order to guarantee a smooth training, the Mabar Project Operation & Maintenance Company responsible for the training made full preparations in the logistical support, curriculum setting, student management, etc. The Operation & Management Department of Oceanwide Power also put forward relevant training suggestions, and conducted the in-class teaching and on-site practice guidance, etc. Besides, the Operation & Maintenance Company also arranged rich cultural and sports activities during the training, in order to help Indonesian employees to relieve their homesickness and better integrate into the Chinese company during their stay in China.


The training aimed to help Indonesian employees cultivate a standard working habit, enhance their professional competence, and prepare for the smooth operation of Mabar Power Plant. Next, the colleagues of Operation & Management Department of Oceanwide Power and the Indonesian employees that have completed the training will return to Indonesia for subsequent preparation for production, in order to guarantee the production and safe and stable operation of Medan Power Plant unit, and build a good brand image of Oceanwide Power in the power market of Southeast Asia.
